What changes when you move to QRTick.
This guide covers what to expect at each stage of your event, from setup to gate entry to payout, once you move from paper tickets and manual cash handling to QRTick.

1. Pre-Event: Zero-Inventory Setup

Service Agreement & Validation: You'll sign a simple contract, then review your ticketing page to confirm all details before we go live.
Instant Digital Box Office: Once your event is live, your storefront is open 24/7.
Promotional Power: We provide a high-resolution QR code linking directly to your checkout page. Put it on flyers and social media to turn any touchpoint into a sale.
Tiered Pricing: Set up Early Bird, General, or VIP tiers; the system manages capacity for each automatically.

2. The Attendee Experience: Frictionless Delivery

Immediate Access: The attendee's QR ticket displays on screen immediately after checkout.
Backup Delivery: A copy is also emailed. No app is required; a screenshot or the email is enough to get through the gate.

3. Gate Management: High-Speed Entry

Scan-and-Go: Staff can scan tickets from any smartphone by logging into the QRTick Organiser Dashboard. No specialized hardware needed.
Fraud Prevention: Every QR code is unique and verified in real time. Once a ticket is scanned, it's marked "Checked In" across all staff devices, preventing duplicate entries.
Zone Control: For VIP or Backstage areas, the scanner instantly flags a guest's access level.

4. Post-Event: Automated Payouts & Insights

Transparent Reporting: Access live sales data at any time, including how many tickets were sold and how many guests arrived.
5-Day Payout: Net revenue is calculated automatically and deposited to your bank account within 5 business days after the event.

Gate Service & Concierge Scanning 18,000 - 80,000 JMD

Need a professional team at the door? We provide trained staff to handle concierge scanning and entry management. Options include 3-hour shifts ($18,000), 6-hour shifts ($35,000), or our popular 3-night bundle ($80,000). A 5% volume discount applies for seasons with 4+ events.

"On the Spot" POS Service 6,000 JMD (up to half day) / 10,000 JMD (per day) + 10% per transaction

We provide a complete "On the Spot" POS service for your event-day sales. This can be operated by your own team, or we can provide one of our team members to manage it for you. We also provide secure card machines for credit/debit card transactions at the door.

Scanning Device Rental 2,500 JMD (per night) / 4,000 JMD (full day) per scanner

For high-volume gates, we offer hardware scanning devices for rent. These professional scanners are much faster than using a native phone camera, ensuring the quickest possible entry flow for your guests.

Setup & Management Service 10,000 JMD

Prefer a hands-off approach? We can fully set up and manage your digital dashboard, event, or season configuration for you.

Listed Event (Homepage Feature) 10,000 - 100,000 JMD/month

By default, your event is unlisted—it's live and fully functional, but only accessible via your direct link or QR code. This is ideal for private events or promoters who handle their own marketing.

Upgrade to a listed event to get featured on the QRTick homepage, giving your event prime visibility to our growing audience of ticket buyers. This premium placement can significantly boost your reach and sales.

Digital Programme Services 4,000 - 20,000 JMD

Enhance your attendee experience with a mobile-optimized digital programme.

Standard Mobile Template ($4,000 JMD Setup): A clean webpage for your schedule, bios, and sponsors with engagement analytics.
Design Optimization ($20,000 JMD One-time): We transform your PDF into a fully responsive web experience that matches your brand’s feel.

Key Benefit: Provides a smoother experience for patrons on their phones while maintaining your design aesthetic.

Physical QR Tickets 7,500 - 12,500 JMD (per 300)

For events that require a physical entry option alongside digital delivery.

Thermal Roll Tickets ($7,500 JMD): Budget-friendly, receipt-style tickets printed on-site (hardware/software provided). Recommended for the gate—quick to issue and hand out at entry.
Card Stock Tickets ($12,500 JMD): High-quality monochrome tickets with sequential numbering.

Ticket printing add-on fees 2,500 – 5,000 JMD

Optional add-on fees on top of a physical ticket order (not included in the base print price).

Small batch add-on ($2,500 JMD): Flat setup fee for card stock orders under 100 tickets.
Express rush add-on fee ($5,000 JMD): When physical tickets are required in under 48 hours.

Organiser FAQs

Q: What if an attendee’s phone dies or they can't find their email?

No problem. Your gate staff can do a quick search in the dashboard by name or email address to manually check them in.

Q: Can guests just screenshot a ticket and send it to friends?

They can, but only the first person to arrive with that QR code will be granted entry. Any subsequent scans of that same code will be flagged as "Already Scanned."

Q: What equipment do I need at the gate?

No specialized hardware is required. Your team can use their own smartphones to scan tickets through our secure web-based organiser dashboard.

Q: How do I handle Guest Lists or "Comp" tickets?

You can issue digital "Complimentary" tickets directly from your dashboard. These are emailed as QR codes just like paid tickets, ensuring your data remains accurate and entry stays fast.

Q: Is there a limit to how many staff members can scan tickets?

No. You can authorize as many scanners as needed. All devices sync to the same cloud database in real-time to prevent any double-entries across multiple gates.

Q: Do I still have to worry about cash?

Only for "at-the-door" sales if you choose to accept them. For all online sales, QRTick handles the security and processing, so you don't have to carry large amounts of cash or manage manual ledger books.
